You’re probably thinking our collective screw is loose.  How can anyone attempt to boil a century’s worth of country songs down to a single CD?  But take a gander at the track list.  Go ahead, we’ll wait.  Yeah, that’s what we’re talkin’ about!  

It is not without reason that this collection is among the best-selling souvenirs of a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  Around here we don’t take the word “classic” lightly.  This is nothing but the cream.  

Any such list will spark debate, but the staying power of these songs and the artists who sang them cannot be denied.  In the 21st century we’re still walking the floor over somebody.  Still crazy for feeling so lonely.  Maybe crying in the rain.  In Amarillo or El Paso, days go by and someone is still always loving someone.  Kissing her good morning.  Forever and ever, amen.
