One of Hatch’s historic masterpieces, this 29” x 41” three-color, one-sheet poster was created for the colorful magician George Marquis. Touted at one time as the handpicked successor to the famous Harry Blackstone, Marquis toured actively with his magic act from the 1920s through the 1970s. But though he looked fabulously sinister in his Hatch posters, he never achieved lasting fame. This poster most likely dates from the 1920s. Printed on acid-free paper for durability.
