Go Vandy! Back in 1922, when Vanderbilt University was a football powerhouse, the VU Commodores battled the mighty Michigan Wolverines to a 0-0 tie in Nashville. A football was thrown out of a low-flying airplane to determine who would get first possession. This historic Hatch poster, 21” x 31”, was created to advertise that game, which inaugurated Vanderbilt’s Dudley Field stadium. That year Vanderbilt went undefeated, winning all eight of their remaining games under their legendary coach, Dan McGugin. Printed on acid-free paper for durability.
